General Information on KeT & Gloveboxes

What does KeT Boxsysteme do?

We are an independent specialist company for glovebox systems: Maintenance & repair, sales of new M.Braun systems (used gloveboxes available through our partner ml-resale.com), purchase & recycling, refurbishment/decontamination, relocation services, lab liquidation, as well as accessories and consumables.

Which manufacturers do you work with?

We work with a wide range of manufacturers—including M.Braun, GS Glovebox, Jacomex, and Inert. This means you don’t need a different contact person for each system.

Who is your offer intended for?

Exclusively for business customers (B2B)—research, industry, and universities.

In what field do you work?

We serve customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We are based in Rietz-Neuendorf, Brandenburg.

Maintenance & Service

Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration

How often does a glove box need to be serviced?

That depends on how they are used. Gloves are inspected visually on an ongoing basis; leak tests and sensor calibration are generally recommended once a year or every two years. For more information, see the guide: Maintaining a Glovebox.

What are the benefits of a maintenance contract?

Predictable schedules, fixed costs, early detection of wear and tear, and a dedicated point of contact for all manufacturers. Our KeT Care 360 maintenance contract is available in three tiers (Eco, Standard, Premium)—see Maintenance & Repair.

Can you calibrate the O₂ and H₂O sensors?

Yes, for all manufacturers—either individually or as part of routine maintenance. See the guide for details: Calibrating Sensors.

Do you also check the box for leaks?

Yes. We use a pressure test to determine the leak rate and locate leaks—see the guide: Leak Testing & Leak Rate.

Buying, Selling, and Moving

Buying, Selling, Moving, and Liquidation

Where can I find new and used glove boxes?

As an M.Braun partner, we supply new equipment (see Sales: New & Used Equipment). You can purchase inspected, refurbished used gloveboxes from our partner ml-resale.com; we handle the refurbishment of this equipment. Learn more in the guide: Buying—New or Used?

Do you also buy used or defective glove boxes?

Yes, from any manufacturer—with or without gas scrubbing, even if they need to be overhauled. We handle the appraisal, disassembly, and pickup. See the “Recycling & Purchasing” section for details.

Do you handle the relocation of a glove box?

Yes—dismantling, transport, installation, and commissioning at the new location, all from a single source, with as little downtime as possible. See the guide: Moving a Glovebox.

Can you dismantle an entire laboratory?

Yes. We safely dismantle glove boxes and equipment, dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with the law, and document everything. A potential purchase reduces costs—see “Laboratory Liquidation.”

Accessories & Supplies

Accessories, Gloves, and Filter Media

Do you sell gloves for my glove compartment?

Do you supply molecular sieves, copper catalysts, and activated carbon?

Yes, for all manufacturers—including filter filling upon request. Background information in the guide: Glovebox gas purification.

Do you manufacture custom-made transport and airlock boxes?

Yes. Custom-fit for mini and large airlock boxes made of PLA, ABS/ASA, or antistatic material; custom-made upon request. See the guide: Transport & Airlock Boxes.
