2. General information on data processing

We process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider, ensuring that personal data is processed only on our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

When you access our website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files (including IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system used). This serves the technical provision, operation and security of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in stable and secure operation (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).

4. Contact form and email contact

If you contact us via the contact form, the data you enter (company, first and last name, email address, phone number and your message) is transmitted to our server upon submission, processed there and then forwarded by email to our mailbox in order to handle your request. Processing and delivery take place on our server at STRATO AG (see section 3). Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email; in that case we process the data contained in the email.

The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) and – where a general enquiry is concerned – your consent or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) lit. a and lit. f GDPR). To prevent automated spam, the form contains a hidden technical check field; no further evaluation or profiling takes place. Your data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Cookies & consent

Technically necessary storage (e.g. your cookie choice in the browser's local storage and the session in the login area) is required to operate the website and does not require consent. Optional analytics cookies are only set if you explicitly agree via the cookie banner (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the cookie icon at the bottom left. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (see section 6); no marketing cookies are used.

In detail, the following entries are stored (analytics cookies only with your consent):

6. Web analytics with Google Analytics

On the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies to evaluate the use of our website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, approximate location and device used). This helps us improve our services.

Google Analytics is only loaded once you consent to the "Analytics" category in the cookie banner. Without your consent, no analytics takes place. Your IP address is shortened (IP anonymisation).

As part of the processing, data may be transferred to Google and processed in third countries (in particular the USA). Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, standard contractual clauses serve as appropriate safeguards (Art. 46 GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the cookie icon at the bottom left. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Fonts

For a consistent appearance we use the "Inter" font. The font files are stored locally on our server and served exclusively from there. There is no connection to third-party servers; no personal data – in particular not your IP address – is transmitted to external providers.

8. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.
